LL.M. (Constitutional and Administrative Law)
The LL.M. in Constitutional and Administrative Law at T.S. Mishra Law School is a oneyear postgraduate programme that provides advanced legal education in the core areas of
constitutional governance, administrative justice, and public law. Designed for law
graduates and professionals aspiring to specialize in this vital legal domain, the programme
emphasizes critical analysis, research orientation, and practical application of law in
democratic institutions.
The curriculum covers key areas such as Indian Constitutional Law, Administrative Law,
Fundamental Rights, Centre-State Relations, Judicial Review, Public Interest Litigation,
and Comparative Constitutional Law. Students engage in seminars, case law analysis,
research dissertations, and internships, ensuring a blend of academic depth and field
exposure.
This programme equips graduates for careers in judicial services, litigation, academia, public
policy, civil services, NGOs, and constitutional governance bodies. It also lays a strong
foundation for doctoral studies and interdisciplinary research in law and public affairs.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have completed a 3-year LL.B. degree or a 5-year integrated B.A. LL.B./BBA LL.B. degree from a recognized university/institution.
- The qualifying degree must be obtained with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC or other reserved categories, as per university norms).
- Admission shall be based on merit and/or performance in the entrance examination/interview conducted by the university (if applicable).
- Final-year law students awaiting results may also apply, subject to submission of proof of eligibility at the time of admission.
