University Research Council
Since its establishment, T.S. Mishra University has been
deeply
committed to advancing research efforts for the betterment of society. Our
approach to
research methodology is dynamic, aligning with the principles of the
university while
ensuring financial sustainability as a private institution. To streamline
and enhance
research activities, the University has established the Research Council,
tasked with
fostering research and innovation initiatives within the institution to
address societal
challenges and promote human welfare.
Under this framework, each college or department will
establish a
College Research Committee, comprising experienced faculty members as
Chairpersons,
along with young and energetic faculty/students with a research-oriented
mindset serving
as members and a secretary. These committees will convene monthly to assess
research
performance and propose enhancements to the respective Heads of Institutions
(HOI), with
minutes of the meetings forwarded to the Vice-Chancellor's office.
Furthermore, the Chairman of each College Research
Committee
automatically becomes a member of the University Research Council, ensuring
representation from every college within the institution. The University
Research
Council will convene quarterly, with a minimum attendance requirement of 70%
of its
members. This council serves as the ultimate authority in advising and
updating
university management on research, innovation, startup initiatives,
patent-related
activities, and securing grants from external agencies. The composition of
