Campus Facilities

Lecture Theatres

T.S.Mishra University has state-of-the-art Lecture Theatres with a capacity to accommodate up to 250 students. It is spacious and well furnished. Modern Teaching aids such as Audio visual aids including touch screen smart board, LCD Projectors, stylus etc. are available. T.S.Mishra University has four such Lecture Theatres in University building & one Lecture Theatre in hospital building for 250 students presently.

Classroom Facilities

At T.S.Mishra University, we believe that the structure of the class room contributes to the student’s learning process. Our college is equipped with spacious and well-ventilated classrooms with ample natural lighting and comfortable seating for our students to learn in a better environment. Most classrooms are also equipped with modern visual aids such as projectors to facilitate better learning.

LIBRARY

The library at T.S.Mishra University has a total area of 2400 sq metres, with a capacity of seating 100 students. There are a total of 4000 books and 60 indexed national and international journals. Computer sets are also available for the students for online research and study in the LIBRARY. There is also a separate study room and demo room with projector for presentations and discussions.

Laboratory

a capacity to have more than 100 students. The labs have work stations with running water, electrical and gas connections. Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pathology, Histopathology, Cytopathology, Blood Banking, OT, ICU, NICU, PICU, Emergency, Physiotherapy Labs and Pharmacology Labs in the College give an opportunity to the students to carry out experimental practical’s.

The labs also have separate demonstration rooms which are equipped with all modern facilities like strip chairs, Over-head Projector, Slide Projector, Television, Video and other audiovisual aids.

Cafeteria

On campus food and catering is available in-house in the college cafeteria, offering a wide selection of dishes and beverages to choose from. It is a popular hang-out spot for students. There is a big canteen of more than 500 capacities in the campus. Facilities of snacks and food of good quality are provided on subsidized rates to all, maintaining full hygiene & sanitation.

Transportation

T.S.Mishra University offers transport facility to its students and faculty members on very nominal charges. College transport has very vast network in the city to pick and drop the students and faculty members from their places.

Hostels

Separate boarding hostels are available for boys and girls. The rooms in the hostels are 3BHK flats. Each flat is fully furnished, and shared by 3 students; with individual single bed rooms for each and a common room and pantry.

A common re-creation room is located on the ground floor of each hostel, having television and indoor games like carom, table tennis, chess etc.

Water coolers, Mess, housekeeping, in-house laundry and dry cleaning and high speed wifi services are also available. The hostels are under 24x7 CCTV surveillance.

T h e c a m p u s h a s h o s t e l accommodation not only for students, but also junior and senior residents and nursing staff of the hospital.

Mess

The hostel premises comprise of separate dining facility in the Boys' and Girls' hostels. We have a multi-floor Mess for the boys with a modern kitchen, which caters for more than 400 students. The Girls Hostel also has a separate dining hall and well equipped kitchen. The mess provides the students with breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner; and both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are available. It is ensured that the food served is hygienic, nutritious and tasty to meet the student's requirements. The college management staff eats the same food to check and maintain the food quality standard.

Recreation Room

A separate recreation room is located in each of the hostels, to help the students relax and unwind at the end of the day. Equipped with a television set for students to watch in their leisure time, the room also has newspapers and magazines for reading and indoor games such as table tennis, carom, chess etc. for students to play.
