The Department of Radiology and Imaging Technology at T.S. Mishra College of Allied and Healthcare Sciences, T.S. Mishra University is dedicated to excellence in diagnostic imaging, academic training, research, and professional development. Bachelor in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology
04-years program (03+01 year of compulsory internship /Laboratory rotation). 40 A candidate seeking admission to the Bachelor in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology (BMRIT) program should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent conducted by Boards/Councils established by State Government/ Central Government with minimum 50% in aggregate of physics, chemistry and biology (botany & zoology). 05 % relaxation will be given to reserved category candidates. Also, the candidate should have completed 17 years of age, as on 31st December of the year of admission.
Diploma in X-Ray Technician
2 years 60 A candidate seeking admission to the Diploma in X-Ray Technician program should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent conducted by Boards/Councils established by State Government/ Central Government with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics (PCB/PCM) and English as subjects. A 45% marks in Intermediate examinations (from UP Board or any other recognized board). Also, the candidate should have completed 17 years of age, as on 31st December of the year of admission. No maximum age limit for admission.

Pre-Clinical Radiology Lab The Pre-Clinical Radiology Lab is a foundational training laboratory designed to provide students with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in basic Radiographic equipment demonstration, Patient positioning practice, Radiation protection and safety training, Anatomy and image interpretation basics, Skill development before clinical
Anatomy Lab Modern anatomy laboratory with human models, charts, cadaveric specimens, skeleton systems, and audiovisual teaching aids to strengthen the understanding of human anatomy and biomechanics.
Physiology Lab Fully equipped physiology laboratory for studying human body functions, vital parameters, exercise physiology, and clinical assessment techniques through practical demonstrations and experiments.
Hospital-based Labs The Hospital-Based Radiology Lab is an advanced clinical training facility equipped with modern diagnostic imaging systems including CT scan, MRI, Ultrasonography (USG), Digital X-Ray, CR & DR systems, Fluoroscopy Units, Cath Lab, Mobile/Ward Radiography Units, and various X-ray machines ranging from 100 mA to 600 mA capacities.
The laboratory provides students with hands-on clinical exposure to routine and specialized radiological procedures, patient positioning, image acquisition, radiation safety, contrast studies, and advanced diagnostic imaging techniques under professional supervision. Mr. Pankaj Kumar is serving as Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Radiology and Imaging Technology at T.S. Misra College of Allied and Healthcare Sciences, T.S. Mishra University. He holds a Master’s degree in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology (MMRIT) from Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University. With experience in both academics and clinical radiology practice, he has been serving at the institution since June 2022. He previously worked as Tutor and Training Coordinator (Radiology) at Indira Gandhi Institute of Paramedical Sciences, Amethi, and completed clinical training at Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences, Etawah. His teaching approach emphasizes student-centered learning through hands-on training on advanced radiology equipment, expert lectures, and clinical exposure visits, enabling students to develop strong practical and professional competencies in radiology and imaging technology.

Ms. Ankita is an Assistant Professor – Radiology at T.S. Misra University with 3 years of clinical experience and 6 months of academic teaching experience. She has worked as a Radiology Technician at Asian Institute of Medical Science, Faridabad, Rays Diagnose Interventions Pvt. Ltd., Varanasi, and Karauli Diagnostic Pvt. Ltd. She has expertise in X-ray, CT scan, MRI imaging, radiological image interpretation, patient positioning, and emergency radiology handling. At T.S. Misra University, she is actively involved in teaching radiology, conducting case discussions, and training students in diagnostic imaging procedures. Her focus is on enhancing clinical skills and academic knowledge in radiology and imaging technology.

Ms. Priya Singh is an Academic Tutor in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Techniques (RIT) with 1 year of experience. She completed her B.Sc. (RIT) from Era University, Lucknow and completed her internship at Era’s Lucknow Medical College and Hospital (ELMC&HP). She has practical experience with CR/DR X-ray systems, CT Scan (Somatom Scope 384 Slice), MRI (Siemens Magnetom Vida 3T), Mammography, Dental Radiography, and Ultrasonography. She focuses on interactive teaching methods and practical learning to help students develop strong foundations in radiology and medical imaging.
