National Safe Motherhood Day

On National Safe Motherhood Day, the College of Nursing, T.S. Mishra University, Lucknow organized an impactful session at the Multipurpose Hall, Nursing Building.

The event, conducted by the OBG Nursing Department, featured a debate on “Cesarean Section vs Normal Vaginal Birth” and a rangoli competition on “Mother’s Love, Nation’s Pride”, with active participation from B.Sc Nursing (6th & 7th Sem), GNM 3rd Year, and ANM 2nd Year students.

Guided under the patronage of Mrs. Praniti Mishra (Executive Director), with leadership from Dr. Thangam Sheela R (Dean) and organized by Mrs. Ekta Singh (HOD, OBG Nursing) along with faculty team, the initiative focused on maternal health awareness, reducing mortality, promoting antenatal care, and highlighting the role of nurses and midwives.
